Due to the recent school closings, there will be some adjustments to the school lunch menus this week:

Elementary Schools: The Wednesday menu will follow the Tuesday menu listed online: Chicken tenders, brown rice, and corn.
Middle and High Schools: Menus will follow the posted Wednesday menu as planned.

As a result of the ongoing cleanup from the storm and out of an abundance of caution, all schools are cancelled tomorrow, Tuesday, January 27th. This includes Extended Day. WHS athletics, we will update you regarding athletic events.

With the start of the new school year, Walpole Public Schools is pleased to announce the addition of TalkingPoints to our set of messaging platforms to improve communication between school and home. TalkingPoints is a chat-style app that allows for two-way conversations between teachers and families. Families receive the messages via text message or via the optional TalkingPoints app, and can reply to teachers as well. Messages can be about individual students or about class-wide activities.

In addition to TalkingPoints for two-way chat, school and district news will still be distributed via the Walpole Public Schools smartphone app. In response to family feedback, SMS text alerts will be used primarily only for critical or urgent messages, such as school closings, late bus notifications, and absence and tardy reports.
