Hello OPR Families!

Hope you all had a safe and fun summer!

As we prepare for a wonderful school year, I want to share some important details regarding student medications. For the safety of all our students, medications are not allowed to be sent to school in a child's backpack. An adult must hand-deliver them to the school.
If your child requires medication at school (such as Epinephrine, Seizure Medication, Albuterol Inhalers, Antihistamines, or any daily prescriptions), please plan to drop them off on one of the dates below:
Tuesday, August 25 — 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Thursday, August 27 — 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Tuesday, September 1 — 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM
Before you come, please make sure you have the following ready:
Updated Action Plans/Medication Orders:Your child's medical orders (e.g., Allergy, Anaphylaxis, Asthma, or Seizure Action Plans, other med orders) must be dated after 6/30/26 and signed by both you and your child's healthcare provider/prescriber.
Original Packaging: All medication must be unexpired and in its original prescription-labeled bottle or box.
In addition, if there have been any medical updates or changes to your student(s), please let me know. If your student currently has a 504 plan or Individual Health Care Plan (IHCP), a copy will be sent home at the beginning of the school year for your review.
