Jen Deleon @jdeleonwriter, book author and writer presented at both BMS & JMS on her book- "Don't Ask me Where I'm From". Some of our grade 8 students read her book for ELA! Students engaged in great dialogue and were able to ask questions to the Author.

Hello BMS families! This is reminder that tomorrow is an early release day for students. Dismissal is at 11:30. We will also be having a spirit day. Students are encouraged to wear yellow to school tomorrow. Maybe this will ward off the weekend's rain!
We had a great Sneak Peek today. Many of our 6th gr. students learned more about BMS, attended Homeroom, and did a walk-through of their schedule. Thank you to all of the teachers and upperclassmen who attended today to help our newest students feel welcome and, hopefully, a little more secure in themselves as they start school with us next week.

May 25 - Mrs. Murphy (and her social justice students) would like to thank the NCTA (Norfolk County Teachers Association) for the grant enabling us to purchase over 30 new texts for our social justice extension group. #NCTA
May 29 - Thank you BMS PAC for the coffee truck today!! We all enjoyed our coffee and danish on this chilly morning!!
