Dear Families,
The Walpole Extended Day Program provides on-site before and after school care for all children enrolled in a Walpole Public Schools Elementary School.
Each program maintains at least a 12:1 student to adult ratio, and provides a variety of structured Activities/Crafts, Recess/PE Play, Presentations, Homework Time, and Clubs at no additional charge.
The Extended Day Staff coordinates to provide all students a variety of options at each point of the day. While we want the children to join us as much as possible, families are able to structure their attendance to meet their individual before and after school needs.
The morning schedule provides time to each breakfast prior to the start of the school day, and the afternoon program provides a snack shortly after the end of the school day.
Program activities and daily projects are planned and implemented by qualified staff members from a variety of education and child development backgrounds.
Scheduling Options
Families can select a consistent weekly schedule ranging from 1 to 5 days each week. On the nine Early Release Days throughout the school year, the Extended Day programming will start early, allowing students to be dismissed directly to Extended Day. Families will also have the option to enroll in an "Early Release Only" option, which allows for care starting at the early release time with pick up by the school's normal dismissal time for a reduced rate (listed below).
Registration is filled on a rolling basis based on the submission time of this form. A waitlist will be implemented if registrations exceed the State mandated group sizes, available space within distancing guidelines, and/or student:staff ratios.

2023/2024 Fee Structure
Fees below are listed weekly, but will be billed monthly, and due on the 1st of each month. Families are not billed for days school is not in session, and the fees for weeks with planned days off will be prorated accordingly.
Morning Weekly Fees
- 1 morning/week - $17
- 2 mornings/week - $29
- 3 mornings/week - $38
- 4 mornings/week - $46
- 5 mornings/week - $52
Afternoon Weekly Fees
- 1 afternoon/week - $30*
- 2 afternoons/week - $52*
- 3 afternoons/week - $70*
- 4 afternoons/week - $86*
- 5 afternoons/week - $100*
- Early Release Only - $25**
*All weekly schedules that incorporate an early release day will incur an additional $25 weekly fee for that week only.
**Early Release Only will not count towards the overall days per week. For example, a family registered for Monday and Tuesday afternoons with the Early Release Only option will be responsible for $52 on typical weeks, and $77 ($52 for 2 days/week + $25 for Early Release) on the Early Release weeks.
