Registering your child:
Parents and legal guardians who are new to the district must register their school-aged children through the Superintendent's Office.
To be eligible for enrollment in kindergarten, children who will be five (5) years old before September 1 of the school year during which they wish to enroll will be eligible to enter kindergarten in September.
To be eligible for Grade 1, children who will be six (6) years of age before September 1 of the school year during which they wish to enroll will be eligible to enter first grade in September.
Please print registration forms (below). Along with the attached forms, the following information is necessary:
- Copy of Birth Certificate
- Transcript from current school
- Discipline Report/Letter (stating whether or not student had any disciplinary actions) (required for Walpole High School only)
- Attendance record (required for Walpole High School only)
- MCAS scores (if applicable)
- IEP/504 Plans (if applicable)
- Health records and immunizations (from physician)
- Proof of Residency in Walpole (copy of a bill, lease, Purchase & Sale w/name and address)
All materials are returned to Mary Mortali, Administrative Assistant to the Superintendent of Schools, at 135 School Street, Walpole (Town Hall Building, Superintendent's Office). If you have any questions, contact the Superintendent's Office at (508) 660-7200 ext. 221.
