Parents can help their children with homework in a variety of ways.
Show that education and homework are important by providing the necessary space, supplies and time for your child to successfully complete his/her homework.
Monitor assignments by checking agenda books, reviewing completed assignments, and reading teacher's comments on assignments that have been returned.
Provide guidance by assisting your child with organization and time management, and talking with him/her about homework.
Meet with teachers before any problems arise, and talk with your child's teachers to resolve problems.
